Lions are vertebrate animals, they are mammals and they are warm-blooded. They have fur and hair. They can adapt to many different climates and conditions.
Lions live in Africa and north-west India.They are in danger of extincion.
They are carnivor and they can eat 7 kilograms of meat per day. Lions sleep 20 hours more or less everyday.
Females usually hunt and they do it at night. Males in generale do not participate in hunting, unless it is a big animal, like a buffalo.
The lions are dangerous.
